Release 268 Release Notes - March 2026

This page contains details of new and amended functionality included in the software update Release 268.

File size validation for documents sent via MESH to TPP (API)

What have we done?

We have introduced a new file size validation check for documents sent via MESH using the API. Docman Connect now validates the document size before attempting to send it to the receiving system.

Why have we done this?

Some receiving systems have file size limits that can cause larger documents to be rejected. By validating the file size upfront, Docman Connect can identify these documents earlier and prevent unsuccessful send attempts.

How will you benefit?

This reduces rejections and improves overall delivery success. You’ll spend less time dealing with rejected documents, making document processing smoother and more reliable.

Details of the change

When a document is sent via the API, Docman Connect checks the file size before sending.

• If the document exceeds the supported file size limit (5MB), the API returns an error code indicating the file is too large for the destination.

• If the document is within the supported limit, the API returns a 200 success response and the document is sent successfully.

• This validation helps reduce rejections and improves end-to-end document delivery.

Resolved issue with filtering using lower Document IDs

What have we done?

We have resolved an issue where filters using lower Document IDs did not work as expected.

Why have we done this?

This was preventing users from correctly filtering and locating documents, which could cause confusion and extra manual effort.

How will you benefit?

You can now reliably filter and find documents using lower Document IDs, making it easier to locate older records.

Details of the change

• Fixed an issue where filters failed when using lower Document IDs.

• Filtering now works correctly across the full range of Document IDs.

• Improves reliability when searching for and managing older documents.

Select all and clear all options for Service Status filters

What have we done?

We have added Select all and clear all buttons when filtering by Service Status in both the Sending Console and the Collection Console

Why have we done this?

Previously, service statuses had to be selected one by one. This could be time-consuming when filtering across multiple statuses.

How will you benefit?

You can now apply or reset filters much faster. This makes filtering easier to use and saves time when reviewing documents.

Details of the change

• Select all and clear all buttons are now available in the Service Status filter.

• Available in both the Sending Console and the Collection Console.

• Allows quick selection or removal of all service statuses without manual clicking.
