Release 276 Release Notes - June 2026
This page contains details of new and amended functionality included in the software update Release 276.
Improved Page Titles for Accessibility
What have we done?
(Internal Reference DCMC-4986)
We’ve updated page titles across the application to make them clearer and more descriptive.
Why have we done this?
To improve accessibility for users who rely on screen readers or keyboard navigation.
How will you benefit?
Easier navigation between pages and browser tabs, clearer indication of where you are within the application, and improved accessibility and usability.
Details of the change
Page titles have been updated to ensure each page has a clear and unique title. This makes it easier for screen reader users to identify pages and helps users navigate more effectively between browser tabs.

Accessibility Improvements for Colour Contrast
What have we done?
(Internal Reference DCMC-4984)
We’ve improved colour contrast across the Sending User Console to make text and key interface elements easier to read and use.
Why have we done this?
To improve accessibility for users with low vision or colour vision differences and better align with accessibility standards.
How will you benefit?
This provides clearer and easier-to-read content, improved visibility of buttons, menus, and status indicators, and a more accessible user experience.
Details of the change
We’ve updated colour contrast across key areas of the Sending User Console, including buttons, menus, notification badges, status indicators, links, and dropdown actions.
These changes improve readability and help important information stand out more clearly while maintaining the existing look and feel of the application.
Improved Error Handling for Invalid Document Requests
What have we done?
(Internal Reference DCMC-5147)
We’ve improved how the system handles invalid or incomplete document requests received through the Connect API.
Why have we done this?
To prevent unexpected system errors and provide clearer feedback when required information is missing or the request format is incorrect.
How will you benefit?
This provides clearer error messages, improved system stability, and makes it easier to identify and correct invalid requests.
Details of the change
The system now validates incoming document requests before processing them. If required information is missing or the request format is invalid, the request will be rejected with a clear error message rather than generating a system error.
Users will now receive the message:
"The format of the data is incorrect or required information is missing. Please review and resend."
This ensures invalid requests are handled more consistently and provides clearer guidance on the action required.
The following items were included in release 274 but were not deployed. They will now be bundled into release 276.
Connect Console Performance Improvement
What have we done?
(Internal Reference DCMC-4995)
· Made improvements to how the Connect Console handles background processes.
· Enhanced key areas of the system that are used most frequently.
Why have we done this?
To support a more stable and reliable experience, particularly during periods of higher system activity
How will you benefit?
A smoother and more responsive experience when using the Connect Console
Details of the change
We’ve improved how the Connect Console processes requests in the background. This helps the system run more smoothly and reduces the risk of slowdowns during busy periods.
Captured Document List Viewing Fix
What have we done?
(Internal Reference DCMC-4963)
We have resolved an issue where documents could not be viewed from the Captured Document List in the Delivery Console. This fix addresses a problem that caused an error screen to appear when attempting to open certain documents.
Why have we done this?
To ensure users can reliably access and view documents without interruption.
How will you benefit?
You will now be able to view documents from the Captured Document List as expected, without encountering errors
Details of the change
We’ve improved how documents are retrieved and displayed within the Captured Document List. These updates ensure documents open correctly, providing a smoother and more consistent viewing experience.
