Mohammed Jamal Updated by Mohammed Jamal

This article will describe how to create and edit users.

User management is role based, if you do not see Users in the menu, please speak to your System Administrator.

It is your responsibility to ensure leaving users are made inactive as soon as they leave the practice. Users can be made inactive in 2 ways from the User list.

Via Actions Menu

  1. Identify the user to be made inactive.
  2. Select the Action chevron drop-down.
  3. Select Make User Inactive. A prompt may appear if the user is a member of any active groups.
  4. Select the group name to edit the groups members.
  5. A prompt may appear if any outstanding Tasks are allocated to this user, and will suggest creating a view to manage these. See the How to Create and User Views article for more information on how to create a view.
  6. Enter a reason.
  7. Select OK.

Via Inactive Checkbox

  1. Identify the user to be made inactive.
  2. Select their Name to access their User profile.
  3. Select the Inactive checkbox under Status to make the user inactive.
  4. Scroll down and select Update. A prompt may appear if the user is a member of any active groups.
  5. Select the group name to edit the groups members.
  6. A prompt may appear if any outstanding Tasks are allocated to this user, and will suggest creating a view to manage these. See the How to Create and User Views article for more information on how to create a view.
