Create a Document Review - Workflow Template

Kevin Wall Updated by Kevin Wall

This article will explain how to create a document review using a workflow template.

Document Review is the beginning of the Workflow process. Create Review choices made in the filing process can use either a template or can be started by selecting users or groups depending on your local processes.

  1. Ensure your document is checked and ready to file.
  2. Select the Create Review field. A drop-down list of Workflow Templates which will suit your local processes will open.
  3. Select from the following:
  • No Review Required - will not begin a review and simply file the document.
  • Start Review immediately after filing - allows you to manually choose a user or a group to send to for Review after filing.
  1. Select the Template from the drop-down. This will allow you to use a template to suit your regular processes in your practice. A Template may have the name of the recipient, or be named after the type of document, such as Discharge Summaries.
  2. If the Template has auto-start enabled, shown by having [Auto-start] after the name of the template. This will enable a one-click process to file and send for review from the Filing screen.
  3. Once you have chosen your review, Select Save.
