How to Create an Active Task Chart
Updated
by Kevin Wall
This article will describe how you can create an Active Task Chart.
An Active Task Chart is a graph that displays the number of tasks assigned to user(s) or a group. When viewing the chart you can select any of the bars and be taken to a page that lists all the tasks that are counted in that bar. The bars are also colour coded to show the age of tasks in those inboxes.
To create an Active Task Chart:
- Select Settings from the the top right-hand corner of your screen.
- Select Reporting.
- Select Active Task Charts.
- Select Create New Chart.
- Enter a Title, for example, "Doctors tasks".
- Select Task Types to be included in the chart. Choose from one of the following:
- Review: documents filed and sent to be reviewed.
- Review Action: tasks to be completed.
- Clinical Coding: coding tasks waiting to be completed.
- Choose whether to have the Task Chart shared (available to all users with appropriate access) and whether to group the task chart by individual user(s) or by group.
- Select Manage Members.
- In the User Search box, search for the user (or groups) you would like to be displayed on the chart.
- Select Confirm once completed.
- Customise the Series Settings as you wish by editing a current series using the drop-down under Actions or adding a new series by selecting Add Series.
- Select Create to finish creating your Task Chart.
