How to Activate New Partner Product

You may be prompted with an activation screen when using Docman GP. This is likely to occur shortly after signing into Docman GP on a PC for the first time.

The Activate New Partner Product prompt attempts to link the EMIS and Docman databases together on each PC for convenience and functionality expected of partnered products.

A user with sufficient permissions in EMIS, for example a Practice Manager or IT Lead normally has the correct permissions to do this.

  1. Enter your Username and Password.
  2. The CDB field will be completed with an EMIS reference no. and does not need to be amended.
  3. Select Activate Product.

If this action does not work, please ensure you have put the correct credentials in, to stop your EMIS log in being locked. If you are sure your credentials are correct, it may be that you do not have sufficient permissions to activate this in EMIS.
