Release 261 Release Notes - November 2025

This page contains details of new and amended functionality included in the software update scheduled for 10th to 18th November2025, known as Release 261.

Message ID Storage and Visibility Enhancement

What have we done?

We have updated Docman Connect to store and display the MESH Message ID for all documents sent via the MESH API .

Why have we done this?

We introduced this improvement to easily access and track MESH Message IDs, allowing for quicker troubleshooting and better visibility of document delivery statuses.

How will you benefit?

You will benefit from improved traceability of MESH document transfers, making it easier to confirm whether a document has successfully reached its endpoint and to investigate any delivery issues.

Details of the change

This update ensures that the MESH Message ID returned when a document is posted via the MESH API is now:

Stored in the existing MESH Message ID field in the Connect Documents table.

Surfaced in a new field within the Connect Console, under the Document Details tab, for quick access.

Improved Handling of Document Rejections via MESH API

What have we done?

We have enhanced the handling of document submissions to prevent unnecessary delays and provide clearer feedback when and why documents are rejected.

Why have we done this?

This improvement ensures documents are validatedbefore sending and handled more effectively before being sent.

How will you benefit?

You will benefit from faster and clearer feedback when a document cannot be sent. This means no more waiting 5 days for automatic rejection notifications, reduced confusion about failure reasons.

Details of the change

This update includes several key improvements to the document handling process:

A file size validation now takes place before sending. Any document that exceeds the size limit will be rejected immediately, avoiding unnecessary delays.

Rejection messages have been improved to provide clear and informative feedback, making it easy for customers to understand why a document was rejected.

Unprocessed documents will also be logged, ensuring a complete audit trail for better traceability and support investigation.
