Resolved issue: NHSmail documents are continuing to fail at TIF conversion stage

Notification send to Docman Electronic Collections Manager with information to reduce the contact they need from support

Why have we done this?

To fix an issue

How will you benefit?

Support will no longer need to contact the GP Practices using Docman10 to provide details to check, the Electronic Document Manager in Docman Connect will receive a notification with the information.

Details of the change

When there is an NHSmail TIF conversion document failure, and we are unable to move the email to exceptions folder, instead of setting the document to “System Error” the system will:

  • Send notification to Docman10 for <unabletomoveemail> and set status to “Rejected”
  • Information to be sent to Docman10: Sent From, Sent Date, Subject, Connect Document Guid(s)

  • Where the TIF Merge setting on NHS Mail collection is switched OFF and there are multiple attachments, multiple GUIDs will be sent for the notification

  • Where the TIF Merge setting on NHS Mail collection is switched ON and there are multiple attachments, a single GUID will be sent for the notification
