Release 257 Release Notes - September 2025

This page contains details of new and amended functionality included in the software update scheduled for 14th to 23rd September 2025, known as Release 257.

It also includes a summary of a hotfix which was released after Release 255.

Exception Handling Improvement

What have we done?

Identified an exception in the error logs which can be eradicated

Why have we done this?

Document upload and filing activity was throwing an Exception in the error logs due to invalid setting

How will you benefit?

There will be no change to function, but performance will be improved

Details of the change

Removed setting enableOCRLogging and removed code that was using it

Scotland – Audit showing EMIS Message for Vision account

What have we done?

(Internal Reference D10-14312/NSS Ref DFCT0011327)

Fixed the EMIS message appearing in DM10 Audit

Why have we done this?

For Scotland - while using Vision (InPS) Docman 10 account, EMIS error messages appear when uploading a document to Docman 10 and viewing document history

How will you benefit?

The audit history will not show incorrect/irrelevant information for EMIS

Scotland – Add External Folder ID

What have we done?

Added the external ID for a Folder at the point of Migration from DM7 to DM10

Why have we done this?

To enable the SCI Gateway to access the folder

How will you benefit?

External access via SCI Gateway will be able to access folder

Scotland - SCI Gateway Logging

What have we done?

(Internal Reference D10-11815)

Added SCI Gateway Logging to Cloudwatch, in line with other functions in DM10

Why have we done this?

To provide a consistent approach to logging, which will be monitored as part of

the BAU monitoring

How will you benefit?

There will be no external change, this is to assist OneAdvanced with issue analysis and tracking

Add structure logging of SCI Gateway to Cloudwatc

Release 255.8 Hotfix

The following changes have already been released as a hotfix to Release 255

and are listed here for information purposes only.

What have we done?

Scotland will use the Scotland READ2 version for Clinical Coding if READ2 is selected at Organisation level

Why have we done this?

Scotland sites use a Scotland specific version of READ2 codes for Clinical Coding

How will you benefit?

Scotland will use the Scotland READ2 version for Clinical Coding if READ2 is selected at Organisation level

England will have no change to end user system – they can select SNOMED or READ2 as currently at Organisation level. The READ2 will be the “UK” version.

Details of the change

When Scotland sites migrate from DM7 to DM10, if they are using Read2, this will be set as their Clinical Code Type in the Organisation settings. Docman 10 coding logic will change as follows:

  • If Clinical Code Type is "Read2" and site is Scotland - use Scotland READ2 table, otherwise use England READ2 table.

  • If Clinical Code Type is "Snomed" - use Snomed table (there is no Scotland v England Snomed version).

Scotland GP2GP Clinical Summary

What have we done?

(Internal Reference D10-14443/14445) & (NSS Reference DFCT0011347/DFCT0011349)

Clinical summary document was not being imported to the correct location on a GP2GP transfer, and was not being removed from the source practice

Why have we done this?

The Clinical Summary document was filing to “Not in a Folder” and was not being removed from the source practice

How will you benefit?

The Clinical Summary document will be filed to the Clinical folder and no longer retained by the source practice

GP2GP transfer has been fixed.

Performance Enhancement – Resolve Recurring Exception

What have we done?

(Internal Reference D10-13602) An exception is occurring ~40 times an hour, causing performance degredation

Why have we done this?

To improve performance.
