John Austin Updated by John Austin

This article will provide you information on how you can add the date and time stamp annotations to your documents.

Date and Time Stamp Annotation adds a stamp showing the current date and time. Useful to acknowledge when a document has been received in the practice.

To add date and time stamp annotation:

  1. With a document selected in the Capture and Filing screen, select Annotate from the Filing Actions column.
  2. Under Annotations, select the small chevron to the right of Stamp. A drop-down list with any predefined Stamps will display.
  3. Select Received [Date] [Time]. The Text field below will fill with the content of the stamp.
The items in this list may be named differently. Also, if you do not see this option, please contact your System Administrator.
  1. Move the cursor to the document where the cursor shape will change to crosshairs.
  2. Select a space on the document where you wish to place the stamp, this will add the text defined in the Stamp you selected i.e. Received [Date] [Time] text will appear on the document in a colour and text size defined in the Stamp.
  3. To edit the stamp, drag the fields around the stamp to resize, or change location, on the document.
  4. Select Save in the Action panel to save your changes.
