Enabling Single Sign On (SSO) for Vision

This article will guide you through the steps to enable single sign on (SSO) or Automatic Sign On (ASO) for Vision users.

Vision

Vision relies on the Active Directory user information to match the user in Docman. This information must be input into each user profile by following the process here:

  1. From the home page, select Settings
  2. Navigate to Users > Users
  3. Select a User's profile
  4. In the Windows User field, type in the User's Vision login ID that they use to login to the Vision remote desktop
  5. Select the green Update button
  6. Repeat steps 3-5 for ALL users

Enabling Single Sign On

Once all users have their Vision login ID added to their user profile, you may enable Automatic Sign On for the practice, follow the steps below:

  1. From the Homepage, select Settings
  2. Follow the path: Organisation Settings > Integration > Clinical System
  3. In the Security section, ensure the Automatic Sign On Method dropdown is set to Active Directory
  4. In the Security section, Tick the box Automatic Sign On
  5. Select Update

For the changes to take effect all users must sign out. They must be logged into a current session of Vision when they attempt to sign in to Docman for the SSO settings to work.
